This is just a fun as well as informational video from one of my favorite editorial comedians. I hadn't heard of civil forfeiture before, at least not referred to by that term. Seems hard to believe it is as easy as John Oliver indicates.
Video of the Week: Funny Words
I think I've got a pretty good video of the week for you. With nearly 250,000 views on YouTube since April 21st (4 days) it's currently one of the hottest videos on YouTube; and for good reason. I've not seen her videos (spricket24) before, but I will have to check some of them out. Basically in this one she runs through lots of "funny" words. Not funny because of what they mean, but funny in how they sound. At one point, one of the words cracks her up as she is trying to say it.
Apparently this bit of comedy sprang from saying "gobsmacked" to someone and having that person laugh at her for using the word. Gobsmacked, if you didn't know, means utterly astonished; no I didn't know that until I looked it up!

You just have to watch this video. It's a classic. Here are some keywords to think on before watching. President Obama, SNL, CNN and John Stewert. This isn't about politics, just basic sillyness on an international level.

This is a bit from a Kevin Nealon stand-up special on Comedy Central. You might remember Kevin Nealon from Saturday Night Live. He is also currently on the ShowTime series Weeds. I also saw him this weekend in the movie Aliens in the Attic. He had a small part as the dad, but the movie was funny.

On July 27th (last night), Conan O'Brien had William Shatner on the show to do one thing; read Sarah Palin's good-bye speech as a poem. I can't do it justice by explaining it, you just have to see it to understand.
Video of the Week 7/20 - Sir Ian McKellen & Ricky Gervais
You know him best as Gandolf the Wizard from Lord of the Rings, he is Sir Ian McKellen. He is a very serious actor, but has a wicked sense of humor. I've seen him on Saturday Night Live and loved it. Apparently he appeared with Ricky Gervais (creator and star of the original "Office" on the BBC) on what I assume was a TV show in England starring Ricky Gervais. Anyway, this couple minute skit is British comedy at some of it's best. Admittedly dry by American standards, but not so dry that I don't think you won't enjoy it. Watch Ricky Gervais face through the skit; classic!
