Tonight Tracy and I along with another couple are going to take a voyage on the Texas Queen Riverboat. She takes her passengers on a 2 1/2 hour tour of Lake Ray Hubbard and offers up entertainment in the form of either a murder mystery or Jazz and Blues music. We are going to take the Friday night Murder Mystery cruise.
The Texas Queen Riverboat also serves up a gourmet three course meal that we are looking forward to. I'm not expecting the meal of a lifetime, but the menu does sound very good. I love the water and enjoy taking boat cruises like this one, so it should be a lot of fun. Tracy is looking forward to it as well. I'm sure she will have lots of photos and I will post some of them on the site.
Here's a description from their website:
You will find her facilities extremely comfortable for all occasions. With accommodations for 150 guests, the Texas Queen is 105 feet long and 24 feet wide.Indulge in the romantic atmosphere as you and your guest cruise the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard in our air-conditioned and heated dining room.Sumptuous dining and panoramic views await you; or you might prefer the excitement of the covered open-air observation deck. The captain of this Mississippi-styled paddlewheeler might even let you take a turn at her mighty wheel. You will have to climb the stairs of this river-boat to get to the captain's wheelhouse, but it is well worth the climb.Welcome Aboard! The Texas Queen is eager to serve you and your friends for all of your special event needs.
