My video editing troubles haven't exactly taken a vacation but I have figured out how to work around my current digital editing limitations and I am presently rendering a movie preview. A "preview" you ask? The movie isn't done, but I have finished a big section of the movie and thought my friend would enjoy seeing that I am actually working on the movie and not just talking out my butt.
If you are wondering what my digital editing woes are, let me give you an idea. This "Preview" is just under 5 minutes long. It has taken me at least 5 hour to complete those five minutes. That is just the tip of the iceberg though. To get the video into a viewable format can take an increadibly long time as well. My five minutes of vieo, is taking over an hour to render.
I would love to know how long it would take with a modern processor.
